Hong Kong Yacht Edition Four Sea Arches Volcano Sightseeing Guided Cruise, UNESCO Global Geopark Volcanic Rock Region

4 hours

Very easy

Cruise by yacht through Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark to see the Four Sea Arches, hexagonal volcanic columns and scenic islands on a relaxing, family‑friendly 4‑hour tour from Sai Kung.

Experience overview

Step aboard a comfortable yacht at Sai Kung Pier and set off into Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark, home to some of the world’s largest and most impressive hexagonal volcanic rock columns. As you glide past dramatic cliffs and island groups, your professional guide shares the 140‑million‑year volcanic story that shaped today’s coastline, from supervolcano eruptions to relentless wave erosion.

This yacht edition is designed to be spacious, stable and relaxing, making it ideal for families with children and elderly guests who prefer comfort over speed. You can move freely between shaded indoor seats and open decks, enjoying sea breezes, photography moments and, on selected departures, golden‑hour or sunset views over Sai Kung’s island-dotted horizon.

Route and activities

Your journey begins at Sai Kung Pier, where you meet your guide, check in and board the yacht before cruising out towards the volcanic rock region. Along the route, you will navigate through crystal‑clear waters past towering sea cliffs, caves and arches carved into the Ung Kong and High Island areas of the Geopark.

There are dedicated viewing moments at each key attraction, with the yacht slowing down so everyone can enjoy the scenery and take photos. On Sharp Island and Kau Sai Chau (depending on departure), you disembark for short “land & walk” sections to explore heritage sites and iconic rock formations up close, guided safely by your tour leader.
